Part of the program of the Minister of the Environment Petr Hladík in Šumava was a visit to the Dobrovodské louky project site, where last year and the year before last we released three streams over 1.5 km long from the underground drainage to the original watersheds. We offered the possibility of organizing excursions to areas restored in the LIFE for MIRES project for expert groups dealing with the hydrological restoration of the river network and drained springs and adjacent wetlands. We also discussed future planned projects for the removal of drainage systems on the territory of the Šumava Protected Landscape Area, which is based on the successful negotiations withing the running LIFE programme in Sumava National Park.
