Networking with the state forest enterprise

The beggining of cooperation

Last week we were visited by employees of the state enterprise Vojenské lesy a statky, who are planning to implement the LIFE project within the territory of one of the military training areas where they take care of forests and farming. And the plan is great. Among other things, they will try to restore the water regime. In our project we deal with similar issues, so we can share knowledge and also share experience with the preparatory phase of the project and its administration.
During a short field trip, we introduced an originally bog spruce forest at the foot of Stožec hill, which degrades as a result of drainage, and we plan to restore it as one of our LIFE project sites.
